The Challenge
A leading investment manager embarked on a transformative journey from legacy SaaS architecture to State Street Alpha. While their SaaS platform provided a solid foundation, the Alpha programme represented a strategic leap forward aimed at enhancing capabilities, reducing costs, increasing scalability, enabling growth flexibility, and unifying global teams under a consistent operating model. This involved over 250 staff on the client side and individual desks managing up to £400bn AUM – making this one of the most complex testing programmes in the buy-side industry.
