The Challenge
A leading investment manager faced significant operational risks due to complex on-premise legacy infrastructure, including an unsupported version of HiPortfolio. Their existing Charles River implementation hadn’t gained traction for portfolio management, with teams relying heavily on Excel and proprietary tools. While CRIMS handled order management and compliance, data trust issues persisted. Though a Snowflake and Denodo solution was in progress for data and reporting, the wider operating model needed careful consideration to ensure successful platform adoption.
